In the back of Breakfast at Tiffany's there are three short stories by Truman Capote.
The first one is called House of Flowers... and tonight after a drive home with the windows down and the heater on, i read it-- all stretched out on my yellow couch next to the window.
True to form, Capote wrote an incredibly interesting and haunting story that totally takes you away to a different place. And also true to form, he employs some of the very best names in the story- including the main character whose name is Ottilie (isn't that the greatest?)
This is a little clip of Capote himself reading a tiny bit of the story.
Listen to it, then read the rest of the story.
