good surprises

Sometimes it's just Thursday.. blah Thursday. (like last Thursday, for example)

And then, suddenly, your brother sends you a text message saying he is IN UTAH with his wife and little boy..
and then, BLAMO! you get to go spend a couple of lovely hours at ikea with your favorite brother and sister in law.. and also this adorable face:

And Thursday is better.
Grey is graduating to a big boy bed now...

i wonder when I will graduate to the big girl bed? (Twin beds are lame)
